(a) "place on land" includes any-

thing resting on the bed or shore

of the sea and anything afloat

(other than a vessel) if it is

anchored or attached to the bed

or shore of the sea; and

(b)

"occupier" in relation to

(i)

any such thing as is mentioned

in paragraph (a), if it has

no occupier, means the owner

thereof; and

(ii) a road vehicle, means the

person in charge of the vehicle

and not the occupier of the land

on which the vehicle stands; and

(c)

"mixture containing oil" means

any mixture of oil with water or

with any other substance;

"oil" means oil of any description

and includes spirit produced

from oil of any description

and also includes coal tar.
