Amend the Urban Council Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

1.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Urban

Council (Amendment) Ordinance 1972.

Repeal of section 45. (Cap. 101.)

Section 45 of the principal Ordinance is

repealed.

Repeal and replacement of section

46.

3. Section 46 of the principal Ordinance is

repealed and replaced by the following

"Minutes.

46» (1) Minutes of the proceedings of

the Council and of committees of the whole

Council shall be kept and authenticated in

accordance with standing orders.

(2) Until the contrary is proved, a

meeting of the Council or of a committee

thereof, in respect of the proceedings

whereof a minute has been kept and

authenticated in accordance with standing

orders, shall be deemed to have been duly

convened and held and all the members

present at the meeting shall be deemed to
