The Council considered memorandum XCR(72)75.

The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:

(a) that the languages to be used in the Urban Council be governed by its Standing Orders; and

(b) that the introduction of the Urban Council (Amendment) Bill 1972 into the Legislative Council be deferred until the Urban Council has agreed upon its new Standing Orders.
