URBAN COUNCIL TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS
On Second Tuesday Of Each Month In Future

The Urban Council will in future hold its public meetings on
the second Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. instead of on the first
Tuesday of each month as has been the practice.
Announcing the change today, an Urban Council spokesman said
it had proved extremely difficult in the past to produce monthly reports,
etc. in time for a meeting scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month.
The next meeting of the Council will therefore be held at
4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 1972, in the Urban Council Chamber, he said.

QUARANTINE RESTRICTIONS ANNOUNCED
The Port Health Authority today announced that quarantine
restrictions had been imposed against arrivals from Donggala (Port).
Indonesia, on account of cholera, and against arrivals from Kabul
(airport), Afghanistan, on account of smallpox.
