automatically to its operative condition in the event of a

changeover to standby power.

(5) The power supplies to the transmitter equipment

eperated by a licensee at a transmitter station shall be

regulated, if necessary, to maintain pressure to 2% of the

nominal voltage under all normal conditions of load.

40 (1)

(a) Any common aerial system intended to be

installed by any licensee other than Television

Broadcasts Limited shall be installed in such

a manner as to ensure

(i) That it does not give rise to any decrease

in the effective radiated power of Television

Broadcasts Limited's tran-missions at the main

transmitter station; and

(ii) that it satisfies the field strength

criteria for the service areas.

(b) The arrays shall be required therefore to

produce radiation patterns which have sufficient

additional gain over Television Broadcasts

Limited's existing aerials to compensate for

the insertion loss of combiners and any

increase in the loss of aerial feeders.

(2) (a) Any aerial system intended to be installed

by any licensee other than Television Broadcasts

Limited shall be 'esigned to ensure that its
