Extracts from the Work Flan' of the Communist Controlled

Fukien Middle School for the first Term of the 1971/72 School Year

The following are short extracts from a work plan' distributed

to teachers and staff of the Fukien Hiddle School from the Principal's

Office. It clearly shows the importance placed on the correct political

line in educating the students. Copies of the complete work plan are

held by Special Branch.

Highest Instructions

To read books, learn and study seriously in order to have a

thorough knowledge of Marxism-Leninism;

All the work of the school is aimed at changing the thoughts

of the students,

The educational policy is to firmly maintain the correct

political orientation;

Be modest and prudent, guard against arrogance and rashness

and serve the Chinese people heart and soul;

Unite to win still greater victories.

Work Plan for the first term

Introduction

Under the present excellent situation when revolution is the main

trend, we, the entire staff of the school, must raise aloft the great red

banner of MAO Tse Tung's Thought, put politics to the fore, and thoroughly

implement Chairman MAO's revolutionary line. We must firmly carry out the

work of the school in compliance with the desires of the great masses of

parents and compatriots in Hong Kong and Kowloon and contribute our share to

patriotic, anti-imperialist undertakings.

Chief Tasko

To continue to unfold the mass movement of living study and applica-

tion of MAO Tse Tung's Thought and to read, study and learn seriously.

To

make strenuous efforts to change the world outlook and to educate and cultivate

people with MAO Tse Tung's Thought.
