I had wide ranging discussions with the Governor

and the official and unofficial members of the

Executive and Legislative Councils.

I also had the opportunity of addressing a

large gathering of businessmen, industrialists

and other leading members of the Community.

I was filled with admiration at Hong Kong's

achievements which are remarkable by any standards.
