Correspondence and Christmas cards of an anti-Government nature sent out under the name of the "Student-Worker Political Action Committee". Believed to be the work of dissident expatriates who were also responsible for the publication of an underground newspaper entitled "Free Hong Kong", which attacked Government.

A demonstration by the "H.K. Protection of Tiao Yu Tai Action Committee" outside the Japanese Consulate-General, against Japanese claims to that territory.

A demonstration organised by the editors of the "70's Bi-Weekly" in D'Aguilar Street, Central, on the Tiao Yu Tai issue.

A sit-in by the students at Northcote, Grantham and Sir Robert Black Colleges of Education in protest against proposed new lower starting salaries for Government teachers.

The editors of the "70's Bi-Weekly" organised pickets at polling booths to dissuade people from voting in the Urban Council elections.

The editors of the "'70's Bi-Weekly' held a "Chinese as an Official Language" demon- stration outside the City Hall, Central.

The editors of the "70's Bi-Weekly' held a demonstration on the Tiao Yu Tai issue in D'Aguilar Street, Central. Twenty-one persons were arrested for Unlawful Assembly, as the demonstration was held without Police permission.

Demonstrations held at Hong Kong University and Chung Chi College of the Chinese University on the Tiao Yu Tai issue and to protest against the arrest of demonstrators on the 10th April 1971. Organised by H.K.F.S.
