The first student demonstration in Hong Kong outside Chu Hai College in protest against the dismissal of 12 Chu Hai College students for criticising the college authorities.
A "Vietnam teach-in" held at the Inter- national School, Repulse Bay, Hong Kong. First mention of the "American Ad Hoc Committee".
An anti-Vietnam war demonstration in Garden Road opposite the United States Consulate-General by a small group of students believed to be from the Inter- national School.
A "Teach-in" on Vietnam held by the "American Ad Hoc Committee" at the Student Christian Centre, 23C, Waterloo Road, Kowloon.
A two-day "vigil" held outside the United States Consulate-General, Garden Road, Hong Kong, by the American Ad Hoc Committee.
The "70's Bi-Weekly", a radical student publication, started by a group of students and graduates, including some of the 12 dismissed Chu Hai College students.
A forum on "the student movement" was held by the Current Affairs Committee of the Hong Kong University Students' Union at which some dissident expatriate students spoke.
The "coffin incident" in which members of the American Ad Hoc Committee placed a black "coffin" in the doorway of the Pan Am offices in Central. Four demonstrators were arrested and charged with obstruction.
Joint "sit-in" and boycott of classes by the three colleges of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in protest against alleged cuts in the University Grants.
