This student union was established in 1972 and represents 2,400 students of the University's three colleges (Chung Chi, United and New Asia). It has its premises at the Benjamin Franklin Centre on the Chinese University campus and it publishes its own magazine "C.U.Student" which contains articles on both student affairs and controversial issues. This magazine is wellsupported by students.

A third year student (economics) of New Asia College, he is an extreme radical student deeply involved in student and social reform activities. He had dealings with blind workers and residents of Sugar Street (see paras 12(a) and (e) ).
A second year electronics student of United College with pro-communist views he attempted without success to organise a sight-seeing group of students of United College to tour China in November 1971.
