Activities
The means by which the movement propagates
its ideas are student publications (especially
the 70's Bi-Weekly magazine); forums and
seminars;
and especially demonstrations.

Since the Hong Kong Government made sites avail-
able for legal demonstrations last August, such
demonstrations have taken place peacefully.
There is also a tendency to drop earlier cam-
paigns about the Chinese language and the Senkaku
Islands in favour of more immediate practical
issues, such as problems of squatters and
hawkers. This has won them some public sympathy.
