1. We have at last received a reply from Hong Kong to our enquiries about what can be done to help Mr Pao to have his ships registered in Hong Kong. Sir H Norman-Walker has sent us a full and helpful account of the situation and I shall thank him for his letter when I have these papers back.

2. As Mr Royle is already aware, Mr Lee (who is in charge of Mr Pao's office in London) told me on 11 February that Mr Pao had written to Sir H Norman-Walker seeking a meeting.

If we do not receive an account of the meeting within a week or so, I shall send an enquiry.
