The figure of 30,000 squatters on land not required for development, which the Housing Board proposes should be resettled, is included in the figure of 1,040,000, which is the Board's estimate of the total number of people likely to be provided with all types of housing up to 1976.

This assumption would not be correct because not all the 183,000 squatters on land which will be required for development will be period up to 1976. of the number to be development purposes is that given by the Housing Board of 100,000 in the urban area and 20,000 in the New
