I have had a report from Hong Kong

that the Colony was not directly affected by

this typhoon which passed to the North-East of

the territory, in the middle of the day. There

was very heavy rain and a high wind which

caused minor damage with some flooding.

homeless or destitute and of those injured by the

disaster.
