BRITISH TEXTILE POLICY
1.
I attach the final version of the DTI submission to their Ministers and the final version of the DTI Working Party's Report.
2. We are grateful for, and have taken into account, comments of Departments on our draft submission and speaking notes, but we shall not be able to finalise a submission until we receive the Memorandum for the EPC, probably on Monday 15 November, prior to a meeting of the EPC on 18 November. We have already shown these papers to TPD as there was a particular point on which we needed advice.
