ERC AND COTTON TEXTILES

Ministers are to discuss on 25 October in the Approach to Europe Committee the question of an assimila- tion to the Community's policy on General Preferences with particular reference to cotton textiles. I attach a draft of the paper for this meeting, prepared by DTI. I should be grateful for your views and those of the other recipients of this minute by the close of play on Wednesday 20 October.
