P., provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council during the absence from the Colony of Sir Alberto Maria Rodrigues, C. B.E., E.D., J. P. with effect from 7th June 1971.

Mr. Browne's previous appointment referred to in your Despatch HKK 1/3 dated 9th June 1970 expired on 28th September 1970 following the return to the Colony of Mr. J. D. Clague, C. B.E., M.C., Q.P.M., T.D., J.P.
