4. Enlarged Airside Arrivals Hall

A considerable enlargement of the Arrivals Hall has been accomplished

by the alterations to the building in this area and also by the fact that tho

available area which was previously used by arriving and departing passengers

has now been given over to arrivals exclusively.

5. Improved Customs/Baggago Reclaim Facilities

This area has been increased in size by the removal of offices,

toilets etc., and also the baggage conveyors which have been moved to an adjacent

site to handle outgoing baggage.

Incoming baggage will now arrive in the reclaim area on conveyor belts

from which it will be transferred to baggage distributors.

Passengers wait

for their own baggage to appear and then take it to the baggage inspection counters.

Two baggage distributors are expected to commence oporating tomorrow,

April 9, 1970.

Others will follow.

Other alterations are expected to be ready during the coming wooks,

such as improved restaurant facilitios, VIP Rooms and a VIP Pross Interview
