4. During the consultation sessions in 1967,
the following theoretical possibilities for
dealing with Hong Kong's problems were
considered:
(a)
Houndé type association;
(b)
Morocco type Protocol;
(c). coverage of Hong Kong exports to the UK
by any general arrangements which might
be negotiated with the Six for the
gradual application of the CET;
(a)
coverage of Hong Kong's exports to the
UK by special arrangements for long
Kong to be negotiated with the Six
(e)
(f)
for a more favourable application of
the CET than the rate generally applied;
acceptance of the application of the
CDT to Hong Kong cxports to the UK
even if this hes to be achieved in a
single step;
a unilateral dccleration by the HMG at
the time of signature of the 'ccession
