Hong Kong and the EEC

At a meeting of the EEC Negotiating Team this afternoon under Sir C.O'Neill (at which the Board of Trade was represented by Mr.Denman and Mr.Preston) it was agreed that it would be useful to let Hong Kong know the prospects, as far as they are concerned, for this week's meeting of Deputies. I attach a draft telegram accordingly. Could you please let me know early tomorrow morning if you have any comments.
