(b) Ceilings by Groups of Categories
The annual quantity is sub-divided as follows between
two principal groups of categories of products shown
celow 1-
Group 1 Cotton fabrics, grey or bleached,
-
whether or not mercerized.
Group 2 Other cotton fabrics,made-up articles
and miscellaneous cotton articles.

(c) Specific Ceilings
(a)
Within a limit of each of the ceilings specified
by groups of categories in the preceding
paragraph, specific ceilings will be agreed on

Agreement so as to avoid an excessive concentration
of trade in certain products.

established. If in the course of one of the
annual periods, the E.E.C. discern a rapid and
significant development in the delivery of certain
categories or sub-categories of products which are
not governed by specific ceilings, it will be able
to demand the fixing of a specific ceiling. In
this case the consultations will be opened without
delay to agree the setting up of a specific
ceiling fra the product concerned.
A transfer from Group II to Group I may be made up to
10% of the quantities fixed for Group II.
(b) Unused portions of the specific ceilings (of categories
and sub-categories) may be transferred to another specific
ceiling within a limit of 10% of the specific ceiling
to which the transfer is to be made.
