Man cleared of airline threat

Hongkong. Nov, 10. --A 61-year- old American accused of demand- ing $100,000 (£41,600) with menaces from B.O.A.C. was acquitted today.

Ewing David Dodgson, who had heer in prison since his arrest on September 24, was alleged to have sent a letter to the B.O.A.C. mana- ger in Hongkong saying that two VC 10 jetliners would be "lost in the air" with everyone on board if his demand was not met.
