Lord Shepherd's Parliamentary Question about the Dependent Territories. This was discussed only briefly at Sir L. Monson's last weekly meeting. Mr. Scott and/or Mr. Godden will probably collecting material for inclusion in Lord Lothian's speech winding up the debate.

I suspect that we shall not hear anything more about this until much nearer the time. I think, however, that we should begin putting a few paragraphs together dealing with the public assistance scheme, education, housing and the Ombudsman (these three points were discussed of course during Mr. Royle's recent visit to Hong Kong), medical and labour issues. Would you please/considering these and also the inclusion of any other topics which might be considecaput in
