5. Overall Utilation.
5.1. The implementation of a VOR/DME facility at Choung Chau will improve airspace utilisation within the Terminal Area by the following
means::

provide discrete arrival and departure routes that minimise the conflicts between arriving and departing aircraft,
allow the adoption of expeditious and accurate approach procedures in VMC for runway 13,
iii provide increased capacity in the Intermediate and
Final approach phases of the system,
iv
provide increased capacity in the Departures phaco of the sycten.
5.2. The fac lity will improve the operation of the system by. the following me 09:
