Pensions Policy: Former HMCCS Officers

Mr. Combs wishes to hold an internal meeting at 11.30 a.m. on Friday, 2 January, to clear an F.C.0. line on the C.D.M's draft pension paper, the latest version of which was sent to you under cover of Mr. O'Brien's circular minute of

19 December and which, we understand, is very shortly to be circulated as a D.V.C. paper. The meeting will be held in Room 1A Sub-Ground Floor, Great George Street (near the King Charles Street entrance), If you are unable to attend, I should be grateful if you could arrange to be represented.

2. As foreshadowed in paragraph 4 of Mr. Martin's letter of 17 December to Mr. O'Brien, the Ministerial discussion of this paper between Mr. Rodgers, Treasury, Mrs. Hart, O.D.M., and Lord Chalfont, F.C.C., will now take place on 8 January. We understand that there will be a combined OPDO/DVO(0) meeting on 13 January to discuss both this and Southern Yemeni Pensions.
