HONG KONG POLICE

ASSOCIATION

The above Association was inauguarated in 1938 and has steadily gained strength. The objects of the Association are to perpetuate friendships formed in Hong Kong, to give its members an opportunity of meeting and to act in the

tual interests of members.

A luncheon Re-Union of Members is held on the first Saturday in October every year in London and the Annual General Meeting of the Association at which officers' reports are received and the officers and committee members for the ensuing year are elected is held on the same day prior to the luncheon.

A Summer Re-Union is held on a Sunday in July each year at "The Warren", the Sports Club (recreation grounds) of No. 4 District Metropolitan Police at Hayes, Kent. A bowls match versus our hosts is played, the trophy for which is a very fine Hong Kong silver junk, presented by the Hong Kong Police Sports Association.

Reports of all meetings are circulated to members as they occur and the Hong Kong Police Magazine is also circulated and received. All members receive a copy of the Rules of the Association together with the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all members. A newsletter is sent out twice a year which keeps members up-to-date with the happenings and development in Hong Kong and also gives news cf both retired and serving members of the Force and others.

Membership is open to all serving and retired members of the Force together with their children over the age of eighteen years, and also to persons who have had associations with the Force or other Hong Kong Government Departments as to warrant their membership being approved by the Committee.

The annual subscription is 10/- and the Life Membership fee £7.10.0 which should be sent to the undersigned by any who wish to join. assured of a welcome.
