Alan Michael ELLIS was born in Wood Green, London,

W.22, Middlesex, England on 15th December, 1941, and last held

He then first obtained employment with the Hong Kong Standard

prosecuted due to insufficient evidence. He left the Colony on

become a critic of Government generally and of the Police in

particular.
