struggle committees of workers of Government departments and industrial workers made a statement saying that they were determined to fight alongside the workers. This is an escalation of the struggle against the Hong Kong British and the struggle committees intend to escalate the struggle even further. Let us see if the Hong Kong British can stand it.

Obviously, Trench knows that the situation is not favourable. During the past month, he has been using violence in order to suppress the angry wave of resistance. However, the situation always runs contrary to the subjective wishful thinking of the reactionaries. The more they persecute us, the more we will resist. The anti-violence army is growing each day. More and more people from all corners of Hong Kong and from all classes join in the army.

At the same time, more and more people hate and despise the policemen, members of the 'anti-riot squad' and secret agents who use every fascist method to beat up, arrest, try, condemn and shoot the workers. They play with the law, thus tearing off all masks of 'democracy' and 'government by law' and revealing their true fascist nature. They will have a hard time convincing people that they are not fascists.

This is the first result of Trench's collusion with U.S. Imperialists and Chiang-clique elements in an anti-Chinese campaign to suppress ruthlessly patriotic Chinese compatriots in Hong Kong. This is what we call

The action of David Trench has put an end to all dreams about making Hong Kong 'prosperous and 'stable' again. Of course they hope to 'have things return to normal'. But, it is not up to them to say it. Chinese can neither sacrifice their lives for nothing nor go to prison for nothing. Their blood is not to be wasted for nothing. How can they think that they can put an end to trouble by using violence and creating more white terror? Besides, so far Trench has ignored all the warnings of the Chinese Government and is continuing to challenge the people of China in a frenzied manner. How can the Chinese people call it a day? More incidents will take place yet.

Frankly speaking, the situation in Hong Kong is no longer under the control of the Hong Kong British authorities. The future of Hong Kong is to be decided by the patriotic compatriots in Hong Kong who hold high the great red banner of MAO Tse Tung's thinking and who have a powerful mother country to give them support. In response to their mother country's appeal, Chinese compatriots in Hong Kong are now starting a 'hate, scorn and despise' campaign. They are determined to purge the British imperialists in Hong Kong who have occupied their land for more than a hundred years and are prepared to answer the great call of their mother country to crush the reactionary rule of the Hong Kong British. The flood of anti-violence has just started to overflow.
