I believe you saw yesterday the letter from the Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Administration about Mr. Hattersley's forthcoming visit to the Far East. Hong Kong Department, South-West Pacific Department and South Asia Department have confirmed to me that there would be no objection to Mr. Hattersley making visits to Nepal, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur on the dates suggested.

2. I have arranged with the Secretary of the Ministerial Visits Committee, Mr. Hillman, that this item can be taken tomorrow afternoon and I would be grateful if you could agree to raise it.
