High Island Scheme. (A water conservation scheme costing maybe £35 million or so. Tenders should be called in 18 months).

Construction of New Railway Terminal and Indoor Stadium. (In planning stage, but it might come forward with a rush).

In addition to all this there will be the continuing programme of Government rehousing. (worth about £7 million per annum), hospital and health developments, the new post office and sort- ing centre, etc. May I direet your attention to the back of the annual estimates for details.

I know of no other large private sector contracts on the horizon. I always lived in hope of helping land a super-tanker order for a U.K. yard from one of the two Hong Kong shipowners who are each in control of fleets of over 3 million tons (floating and building). During my time only 2 bulk carrier orders have come from them to us. The rest has gone to Japan, Sweden, Germany, etc.
