The arrangements are
(a) The Lapartment will accept applications for export authori-
sations with effect from 9 a.m. on Monday, 2nd December, 1968 against evidence of fiam contracts in the form of
(i) the criginals of contracts placed by the Benelux
buyarej
(11) the originals of contracts placed by Hong Kong
exporters with local manufacturers;
(iii) the originals of letters of credit, if opened. (111)
All applications received by 5 p.m. on 2nd December, 1968 will be considered together and approved on a pro rata basis, if necessary.
(b) On all applications for export authorisations and export
licences, applicants must state the actual quantities in the units stipulated in colurn (d) of the Enclosure and the kilos equivalent calculated in accordance with the conversion factors given in column (c) of the Enclosure. In the case
of the n.e.s, categories (for which there are no conversion factors) applicants must declare the actual net weight in kilose
(c) Any applications which are incomplete or incorrectly com-
pleted will be rejected.
(a) Export authorisations will be valid for three months from
the date of issue. No extension of the validity period will be granted.
(e) Applicants for export authorisations must state the precise
category in which chipment ill fall.
(f) Applications for export licences to ship against approved
export aghorisations must be made on Form C. & I. 353A (Revised), suuriies of which are only obtainable from the Dopeutuenb's Textile Licensing Office on the 2nd floor, Fire Brigado Bilding, Hong Kong,
(e) Asslickens Ar export licences must be completed in
quadisenin auto. In cases where the Hong Kong exporter is- nɔt thɔ kfzufacturer he may omit from the quadruplicate copy of Vive application the manufacturer's name and address.
Applications for balances remaining after 2nd December, 1968 will be proccened strict on a first-come-first-served basis. At this time, applications for export authorisations to ship in the respective Group "basket." (n.e.s. categories) will also be
entertained.

Application forms for export authorisations are obtainable from the Textile Licensing Office of the Department on the 2nd floor, Fire Brigade Puilding, Hong Kong.
