We have at last received the enclosed reply from Serraris to Tippetts' letter of 12th June last about the inclusion of British Overseas Dependent Territories in the Anglo/Benelux Agreed for 1969.

Having read through the back papers relating to this issue it seems to me that there is no point in pressing the argument any further for the time being. Unless you see any objection we would intend to do no more at this stage than politely acknowledge the reply and note that the rejection of our request is only provisional.
