These self-explanatory papers which I have copied from the Board of Trade correspondence follow my letter of 23 January about the possible extension of the Anglo Benelux Agreed Minute on Trade to cover the Dependent Territories.

For the time being, to repeat the words of Mr. Serraris, "this seems to be the end of the road". We do not propose to take any further action at present.
