fibre knitwear to Norway

Registration of confirmed contracts

In Notice to Exporters, Series 6 (Z.F.T.A.): No. 18/68 of 3rd October, 1968, the Department announced the introduction of restraint on exports of certain non-cotton textiles to Norway and invited shippers to submit a complete schedule of their exports over a given period. On the advice of the Wool Committee of the Trade and Industry Advisory Board, the Department now invites shippers to register details of unfulfilled contracts entered into on or before 24th September 1968 for woollen and acrylic fibre knitwear for shipment to Norway.

Registration must be made with this Department, in the form set out in the enclosure to this Notice, not later than 1 p.m. on Saturday, 26th October, 1968, and supported by

(a) the originals of contracts placed by Norwegian buyers; (b) the originals of contracts placed by Hong Kong exporters

with Hong Kong manufacturers;

(c) originals of Letters of Credit, if opened.
