(c) Providing British university teachers, teacher

training instructors, technical and secondary

school teachers, and short-term volunteers.

(d) Providing British staff to help in the organisation

local training facilities.

(e) Providing training in Britain in a variety of type

of skill, usually for periods between three months

and three years and usually for work in the public

sector, including nationalised industries, though

training can also be provided to a smaller extent

for the private sector.

(f) Providing a small amount of British equipment for

teaching or demonstration purposes or for research,

especially if needed for use by British personnel

or for local personnel trained in Britain.

(g) Providing the services of technical and advisory

organisations financed from British Government funds,

e.g. the Directorate of Overseas (Geodetic and

Topographic) Surveys, the Inter-University Council

for Higher Education Overseas, and the Council for

Technical Education and Training for Overseas Countries,

subject in some cases to payment of a proportion of the

cost by the recipient government.

(h) Arranging and paying for aerial surveys by

British contractors, subject to the payment of

part of the cost by the recipient government.
