At a cocktail party given by C.Y. at
the Cavendish Hotel after the investiture I
was able to have a chat with him and learnt
that The Queen did indeed speak to him; the
conversation centred apparently on his
membership of Executive Council. He seemed
supremely happy about
verý satísfied with the way the day's events
had gone and was in very good spirits.
