list and memorandum drawn up by the T.U.C. showing the overseas Trade Union Centres who will receive

invitations to the T.U.C. Centenary Congress to be held in September later this year, and explaining in particular terms the reasons for the choice made where a choice has been necessary.

Invitations are expected to be sent out fairly soon if they have not already issued. It will be noted that Hong Kong is to be invited; the local organisation to receive the invitation will be the Hong Kong T.U.C. We understand that there is no present intention of allowing the list to be varied in any way and also that consideration will only be given to helping with fares in exceptional cases where the T.U.C. is satisfied that there is a real financial need.
