The remainder of the available vouchers will be allocated to category A. These applications are considered broadly in the order in which they are received, but not more than 15% of the vouchers issued in category A are issued to applicants from any one country.
If you have a specific job to come to, your prospective employer in the United Kingdom should apply for a voucher for you on a form (E.D.414) which may be obtained at any office of the Ministry of Labour. If you want to apply for a voucher in category B, you must do so on a form (E.D.412) obtained from the n
st British official representative overseas.
If a voucher is issued, it will be sent to you in your own country through official channels. It will be valid for entry to the United Kingdom within six months from the date of issue, and it must be in your possession before you arrive in the United Kingdom. If you are coming for employment and do not have a voucher, you are not likely to be admitted.
