The full survey has not yet been completed by the Commissioner of Labour on the effect of the reduction in the hours of work for women and young persons but he will be able to give you the latest information when he is in London.
The timetable for the legislative programme is being kept regularly under review and Hetherington will be able to give you the up to date position on this also.
The report on Social Security was tabled in Legislative Council on 10th April and I enclose a copy of the statement which I made at the time. It is still too early to judge local reaction.
I am sorry that it has taken so long to comment upon Foggon's report. We should now be able, however, to let you have our comments by the beginning of May.
