TA KUNG PAO
'We resolutely support the May 15 state- ment of protest by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and are determined, together with our patriotic fellow countrymen in Hong- kong, to carry this struggle against the fascist persecution by British imperialism through to
the end.
These large-scale atrocities perpetrated by the British authorities in Hongkong are the result of long premeditation. They are a com- ponent part of British imperialism's scheme of collusion with US imperialism and the Chiang Kai-shek gang to oppose the Chinese people, as well as a part of the counter- revolutionary measures taken by British im- perialism in a vain attempt to restrict by violent suppression the growing influence of the great thought of Mao Tse-tung.
