the Deportation of Aliens Ordinance, Chatham Road Compound.
At the time of my arrest I was visiting at the Z Business,
Gloucester Road. I arrived in Hong Kong in May 1960 from Taiwan.
I was sent to Hong Kong by CHENG Yam Yuen, the Director of the
K.M.T. Intelligence Service. There were already 3 other persons
in Hong Kong and I was sent to the Colony to organize a unit for
intelligence purposes. Mr. X is my friend. His son who is study-
ing in Taiwan lives in my house there. When I first came here I
was asked by Mr. X to be a shroff in the Z Business and subsequently
he asked me to assist him in intelligence work. I was told by him
that he was responsible to a Mr. F working on intelligence. Mr. X
is a member for the Commission for Overseas Chinese Affairs in
Taiwan. He is also responsible for the finance of the various
intelligence units in Hong Kong. I was told by Mr. X that he was
a member of the Supervision Section of the National Security Bure
Mr. X is a partner of the Z Business.
My work on intelligence matters in Hong Kong was to pass
information received from Mr. X to Mr. F and
I understand that the information was obtained by Mr. X from CHU
