With respect I agree with Mr. Carter and Mr. Hall.

While I do not think we can resurrect, at this stage, the question of Sergeant Chu's innocence or otherwise

there seems little doubt that he has not been treated

fairly by normal standards. In the circumstances I

would agree that the right course is to try and

obtain for him an ex gratia pension back-dated to

1962.
