Air Freight of Generator to Hong Kong

A 400 CPS Generator set was recently required in connection with work on the repair of the fence on the Hong Kong/Chinese Border. This was not available locally and a set was flow out by air freight at a cost of £346.

I would now like to instruct our Command Secretary in Hong Kong to recover these extra costs locally since, as I explained in my earlier letter, the

Hong Kong Government has in many cases been told at official level that charges would most probably be raised for the assistance provided.

Perhaps you would let me have your early agreement to this course.
