THE HONG KONG AUXILIARY AIR FORCE
1.
The tasks of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force are
summarised as:
Internal Security
General Reconnaissance
Search and Rescue
Medical Evacuation
Voice broadcasting
Communications
2. In order to carry out these tasks the HKAAF is equipped
with Austers and Allouette helicopters. Its establishment
consists of 28 Auxiliary Officers (including the Commanding
Officer a Wing Commander GD), and 62 airmen. Details are:
