Following is translation of Chinese text:-

To guarantee, hereafter, safekeeping of "Big Letter" posters (Chairman Mao Thoughts).

(To guarantee) safety of all workers in Man Kam To, including those coming from, Hong Kong, such as drivers etc.

To guarantee that there will not be any interference with work arising from the promotion of Chairman Mao Thought including studying together with Hong Kong workers and yourselves.

The above conditions in this guarantee are within the framework of the law and cannot be breached; otherwise, the British authority will be responsible for enforcement. The frontier commander will guarantee peaceful co-existence in future so as to avoid any

misunderstanding.
