Dear Maydon,
Thank you for your letter of July 24 about
the proposal for a new name for the Hong Kong Police.
As I am sure you will appreciate, use of the
prefix "Royal" raises many considerations which are,
in fact, still being looked into by the Governor of
Hong Kong. But we hope that it will not be long now
before a conclusion in this matter has been reached.
I will let you know as soon as a decision is
taken.
