Dear Geminara,
Proposed visit of 'Savannah' to Hong Kong
Waddingham, in his letter of7th May, specifically asked for our comments on the possibility of the Authority providing a monitoring team. I am afraid that we cannot provide a team and I think we could go so far now as to say that it is highly unlikely that we could ever provide a team overseas.
I am copying this letter to Waddingham, Noble, Young, Denson and Miss Llewellyn Smith.
