I attach a list of briefs which are required for the visit to London of Dr. Kiesinger, the Federal German Chancellor. The specimen front page should be used in preparing briefs for which your Department is responsible. Wherever possible, the front page should contain a very short summary or "talking point".

It is not proposed to discuss briefs unless Departments request a meeting of the Defence and Oversea Policy (Official) Committee for this purpose,
