F. DAMAGE TO TRAFFIC AIDS AND PARKING METERS, ETC.

1.

Traffic light installations were damaged at eight locations between Jordan Road in the south and Un Chau Street in the north. The cost of replacement materials was estimated at $8,000.

2.

Traffic aids (bollards, beacons, traffic pagodas, etc.) to the value of $12,220 were damaged in locations throughout the area of the disturbances.

3. A total of 165 parking meter heads were reported as missing, 79 as damaged beyond repair and 514 as damaged but repairable. The cost of replacements/repair was estimated at $156,000, excluding labour costs and any cash in the missing meters.
