A. PRIVATE BUILDINGS
April 6/7th Shaw's Building, Nathan Road; 9 commercial premises in the shopping arcade were looted to a greater or lesser extent. In addition, some were damaged as a result of the fire in the Shui Hing Co. (see para. 163 and Plate 21). In addition, some 20 commercial premises, mostly in the Mong Kok area, had windows broken and in some cases goods were stolen. Apart from Shaw's Building, the most serious damage was caused in the looting of Jones Wong Co. and the Yee On Hong Co. Ltd. (see para. 171).
